A.) Hire an Attorney
Each spouse hires a specially trained collaborative attorney, and other collaborative professionals as needed, and all work together in a cooperative, non-combative process with one goal in mind: to achieve a mutually acceptable agreement that will resolve family law disputes.
You and your husband or wife and attorneys promise in writing to voluntarily disclose all financial and other relevant information, to proceed forward in a respectful manner to negotiate toward a fair settlement.
C.) An Agreement
Once an agreement is reached on all the issues, then the agreement is transformed into a written document. This document is sign by both spouses and attorneys to be filed with the courts. A final court hearing will be set to approve the uncontested agreement for final judgment.
